Hi friends! My name is Cheree, and I'm a family violence survivor. My mum passed away in 2010 due to domestic violence. This has led to me developing a few mental health issues and put me in some pretty rough situations. I've spent years feeling completely lost, like I'm not good enough, and that my life didn't matter. All of that changed when I started collecting crystals. It may seem silly, but when I started collecting crystals, I felt lighter. It's like I put on glasses for the first time and realizing I never knew how clear the world could be.
Now I aspire to share that passion with others, while supporting women facing domestic violence - and doing it all in an eco-conscious way!
I take pride in offering affordable, high-quality crystal bracelets, perfectly designed for your zodiac sign. They all come in both silver and gold, making sure it matches your personal vibe! All of my bracelets are packaged using eco-friendly products. From the boxes to the tissue paper, even down to the tape, everything is 100% recyclable or reusable (with the exception of shipping labels).
Most importantly, $1 from every bracelet gets donated to a charity here in Victoria, Australia, called Safe Steps. They provide emergency accommodation, personal essentials, and resources for women escaping domestic violence. FAQ
Are your bracelets going to fit me?
At the moment my bracelets are kind of a one-size fits most situation. For reference, my wrist measures 17cm, and it sits very comfortably! When I gain more traction, I'm hoping to offer custom bracelets where you can choose between different sizes, crystals, and charms. That would require a hefty amount of stock which I unfortunately can't afford at the moment as I'm just starting out. Stay tuned for that!
Are your crystal beads ethically sourced?
Short answer, no. Long answer, kinda? Let me explain. The term "ethically sourced" doesn't actually mean anything, legally speaking. There are no requirements or regulations crystal shops have to follow in order to label their crystals as "ethically sourced". Buying beads is very tricky, as I have to buy large quantities in 20+ different types of materials. It would be extremely unsustainable for my business and borderline impossible to buy beads directly from mines or know the exact supply chain that all of them have come from. I do, however, avoid purchasing beads that are made from conflict minerals. For example: Lapis Lazuli is primarily mined in Afghanistan, under unsafe working conditions, and the profit from the Lapis mines goes directly into funding the Taliban. If you don't know what the Taliban is, I'd recommend you do some research on it! They are an Islamic fundamentalist group that deprives people in Afghanistan (mostly women) of their rights. Long story short, I can't say for sure that my beads are "ethically sourced" as that term means something different to everyone. But I do make sure to avoid materials that are known to be mined unsafely, support extremist groups, or use child labour.
Do you ship outside of Australia?
Currently, not yet. The prices I have been quoted for international shipping are very expensive! I don't want my customers to have to pay an arm and a leg just for shipping. The tariffs in the U.S. are also making it impossible to ship anything there, and if I were to ship internationally, I'd want it to be accessible to everyone! Eventually I would like to ship all over the world, but it has to wait until the future unfortunately!
When will I receive my order?
Since my bracelets are made to order, it really depends! Times can vary on how many bracelets you order, how many orders I have to fulfil at the time, and where you live. Processing time is between 1-10 days, and shipping (according to my courier) will take 2-7 business days. Once the order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number so keep an eye on that to see where your package is!
I missed out on ordering a bracelet, when is the next restock?
Restocks will be announced on my instagram and tiktok (@freespiritedcrystals). All costs are coming out of my own pocket at the moment, but if I sell out, I promise I will do my best to restock as quickly as possible!
Do you really donate to charity?
Yes! I donate to a charity called Safe Steps based here in Victoria, Australia. You can read more about them in the "about me" section on my website. I will be posting proof of donations to my instagram highlights monthly!
What is the metal parts made out of?
All metal including the spacer beads, jump rings, and chains are made from gold or silver plated brass! Unfortunately, this does mean they can tarnish if not taken care of. I wanted to go for a more affordable option so they're accessible to everyone! In the future I'd really like to offer stainless steel optional upgrades, but again my budget is a big factor in this. I'm so sorry if you have sensitive skin and can't wear brass, but I will have more options when my business grows!
